Community Service

Throughout the year, I participate in many community service events in the community around me. I participate in these events through National Honors Society, Beta Club, Honors Work Based Learning, and self driven events. Yearly, I participate in a sock drive for the retirement home to help provide the people living there warm socks throughout the winter. I also participate in Rock-a-Thon, an event run by the National Honors Society, where we raise money and make blankets to support the Cystic-Fibrosis Foundation. I have also participated in occasional events, the most recent being a Christmas meal with the Next Chapter Book Store, who helps provide living and job opportunities for the disabled.
