Through the Work Based Learning Program, I have been able to pursue an internship in my future field of study, Engineering. I currently pursue that study at IMS Gear in Gainesville, Georgia where I am working in the GA 07 Engineering Department. IMS Gear is a leading company in gear and transmissions technology. During my Internship, I have been able to create valuable connection throughout the workforce and learn fundamental skills in Engineering.

Skills Obtained

  • Learn new technologies that I can apply in different parts of my life

  • Grow relationships with co-workers that can help carry me into my future career
